Bridge games planned for seniors
Ridgeland Recreation and Parks will offer friendly bridge games for senior adults May 23 at the Ridgeland Recreational Center. Sign in by 12:45 p.m. for the 1 p.m. games. All are welcome.

Take simulator test flight Saturday
Visit the Natchez Trace Bandits Model Aviation Club radio controlled model aircraft display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland and take a simulator test flight. The display will be near Cache and Hearron Fine Gifts and adjacent to the Clock Tower.
Auditions set for Mississippi Girlchoir
The Mississippi Girlchoir has set auditions for its 2013-14 season for girls entering grades 3-12. Auditions will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesdayand 3-5 p.m. June 4 at the MGC office, 1991 Lakeland Drive, Suite M, in Jackson.

20th-century dolls on display
The Flora Depot Museum on Main Street is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. View the collection of early 20th-century dolls and other historical artifacts.
Dragon Boat Regatta coming up
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce hosts its fifth annual Dragon Boat Regatta Saturday on the Ross Barnett Reservoir at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland.
Weeklong festivities culminate on race day when teams of 25 race head-to-head in 40-foot long boats. Spectators are welcome, with food vendors and a free Kids Zone on site.

Magnolia Meltdown set for May 25
Magnolia Meltdown 2013 5K run/walk, 10K run and Kids’ 1-mile fun run will be held beginning at 7 a.m. May 25 on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland. Proceeds benefit St. Dominic Community Health Clinic.
